Tabu_Nebula is a line of veneer designs proposed for Tabu Milano. This project also includes an assembly design for the Tabu factory based on the designs proposed. The waste pieces / laser-cut pieces of veneer are to be randomly dropped on the fresh sheet of veneer and then hot pressed to finalize the pattern. The method is inspired by artists John Pollock and Callen Schaub. To achieve randomized results like in real life, Rhino and Grasshopper were used.
