Technogym_GymZ: Gamified Wellness.

Technogym is the world leader in gym equipment for fitness clubs, sports centers, medical centers, and home training. The company wanted to conceptualize a gym of the future as it was an envisioning exercise. We were required to come up with the problems in the fitness world in the future (20 years ahead) and then provide a solution for such an environment. In this project, we have presented a fitness future for the Gen Z generation where they perceive fitness as a gaming challenge with rewards-based motivation systems. The subject is also supposed to shed light on today’s problems of screen habits as it speaks of a dystopic type of future for fitness. In this journey, the customer goes through a daily scan where suggestions are made in their app for exercises which range from meditation, a walk/run in nature, or a game from an arcade that channels their physical energy. This app also includes a point system that the customer can redeem later for better gaming challenges or more consultation sessions.
