Drape: Experimentation in glass as a material.

Glass has many unique properties,  particularly when it transitions into a liquid molten state, enveloping and embodying the three-dimensional shape and texture that surrounds it. Molten glass is a supercooled liquid, which means it is in a high-temperature state but has not yet crystallized into a solid. This project will present an experiment to test this property of glass in different environments. Molten glass is poured on four texture plates, each with an unexpected outcome. The glass sculptures developed as a result can be applied to a variety of situations including perfume caps, precious objects, jewelry, etc.
