5 Things to remember after lockdown

Space Design

Lockdown is coming to an end and we all wish it doesn’t repeat again (like we wished the time). We have realized at least a few things through homeschooling, work from home, isolation, etc, that weren’t right with our lives before. Instead of going back to the same lifestyle let’s bring some learned concepts to our everyday life.

Comfort: After being at home almost 24/7, we know that comfort at home was taken for granted. Before time spent at home was much less by a working person than outside. Comfort is often misunderstood as luxury.

Independent zones: Having the same workspace and a place to relax (bed or sofa) doesn’t translate into optimum productivity. Hence the separation of activities is much needed nowadays.

Privacy: Most of us are living with families for this difficult phase of life. Though sharing and co-living have become a pain for some of us I am sure. Happiness is having a personal spot at home.

Plants & pets: Because we couldn’t meet our human friends as often as we could other kinds of friends were made in the lockdown. They are as much a part of life as any. Trying to keep plants alive and taking care of pets have kept us empathetic and social.

Energy Saving: Offices have declared work from home for longer since they have realized that it takes much less energy spending to keep employees at home which saves them a tremendous amount of money. In reverse, we have started to experience more energy consumption in our homes. We need to consider storing solar energy, using the right insulation, and promote better habits more assertively.

I hope you found something out of the lockdown days, somehting positive and I hope you keep that forever. If found this helpful do leave a message, we could tal more if you’d like. :)
